A FREE summer intensive for 16-19 year olds who want to perform or produce/crew a real show!

Who: Performers and trainee crew, costumiers, stage managers, lighting and sound, directors and event managers.

You MUST be 16-19* in August 2020. 

  • Performers - lead and support roles. Non singers welcome as chorus. 

  • Creatives - you will shadow the professional creative team and help build and run the show.

For both cast and trainee creatives, a qualification to recognise your hard work will be taken at the end of the event. For Performers this will be graded Musical Theatre qualifications (grade 3-8 depending on age and ability). For creatives crew either an Arts Award or other technical qualification to suit your role in the production. All grades at 6+ attract UCAS points. In the past two summers 100% of our musical Theatre performers achieved a Merit or Distinction!

What: two and a half weeks of rehearsals at South Hill Park, with a graded exam or other qualification at the end, and then 4 days of shows for the public.

Where: South Hill Park Arts Centre, Ringmead, Bracknell, RG12 7PA. Performances are all in the Amphitheatre - giving you a chance to try site-specific outdoor theatre.
