Who is it for?
Medusa is designed for teens and young adults who are serious about musical theatre. Our members often have experience in professional or amateur productions and are training for a career in the performing arts, aiming for entry into vocational schools and universities. However, we also welcome keen beginners who are ready to rise to the challenge. Through 3 hours of core training each week, plus a 6-hour masterclass intensive each term, members receive top-tier instruction from industry professionals, including West End directors and choreographers.
In addition to regular classes, Medusa members perform in at least one major production each year, with opportunities for additional shows and events. Our high-performance standards ensure that every member is challenged and supported as they develop their skills and experience.
Entry is by audition and subject to space. Members can choose to audition for lead or ensemble. The whole company are actively encouraged to be part of the producing side of the shows - and often help with costume, props and set building.
