Director’s Welcome

Welcome to the Wilde Theatre for todays premiere performances of 'Turn It Up!'. It has been such an immense privilege to write a show just for our junior theatre company. It is has been wonderful to shape this show around them and to work with them to create the finished product which you will see today. The summer term is always a very challenging term with lots happening and I know I speak for the whole team when I say I couldn't be prouder of the children and how they have handled the challenge. 

My biggest thanks has to go to our incredible Saturday team of Paul, Grace, Vicki, Piper, Clare and Molly who have been the dream team for this insanely busy term! These shows, the classes we deliver or the experience we offer our students could not happen with these people working as hard as they do each week! 

Looking ahead, we start working on Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! This one of my all time favourite shows that I have alway wanted to direct so to finally have the chance is very exciting! It will another incredible production for our students and I cannot wait to get started! Audition information will be coming out this week!

Whether its your child's first performance with us or their last as they are moving up to ur teenage company - I hope you enjoy this performance as much as we have enjoyed working on it.

Please donate if you can in the purple tins in the lobby. For every ticket sold the venue hold back £2.50, and takes 15% of any programme sales or donations. We want to keep the photos free to all cast, and need to raise as much as possible to cover this and the show costs which are not covered by tickets.
