Remi in Dr Who - Listen

Did anyone watch Dr Who over the weekend? Playing Rupert Pink in the episode 'Listen' was Artemis boy Remi Gooding. We have had to keep the secret for months! Gemah accompanied Remi for the filming earlier this year,and we were lucky to have the whole script - a real treat for Whovians! You can see Remi in the show and in the extras special. Remi and his brother are both now appearing in the West End together - living the dream! :-) 

National Theatre Connections 2015

Pleased to announce we have been offered a place on the National Theatre Connections again next year! The program is heavily oversubscribed, and we are thrilled to gain a place for two years in a row. Members of Medusa and graduates of Artemis will once again work on a brand new one act play in Spring (intense rehearsals followed by weekly).

Open day & Auditions - Summer

This summer we will be holding trial classes and auditions for the following classes:

Junior Theatre Company (age 8-14)  Acting and musical theatre - looking at texts and songs from Les Mis.

Medusa Teen Theatre Company (age 14-20)  Acting and musical theatre - looking at texts and songs from Les Mis. 

Phoenix JV Hip Hop Company (age 10-15) Advanced hip hop/street

Phoenix Senior Hip Hop Company (age 14-25) Advanced hip hop/street.

Results just in......Phoenix JV's our junior hip hop company have just won the Internationals again - 3 years in a row!! 

We are waiting on results for the Elite cheer team, and the Senior Phoenix company will perform/compete tomorrow. 


We will be auditioning for 6 new company members for September, to replace members who will be moving up to the senior team. If you are 10-14 and can dance get in touch - it could be you winning in 2015! 

Artemis Festival - opens next week!

In 2014, Artemis students will present their first bi-annual festival of theatre!

Featuring students from Triple Threat in their own one act plays, and Medusa Teen Theatre Company, who will co-produce the event.

With 7 shows and 9 performances across three evenings, it is a packed schedule!

Little message from Julian, the director of Aladdin (we have 7 students in the cast of 30)  :

Congratulations to everyone who auditioned to be in our professional production of Aladdin at SHP this coming Christmas. We saw around 100 children and the standard of talent was particularly high. We had to make some very tough decisions. To those who didn't get in: be proud and keep trying. To the 30 who did get in: you've got a lot of hard work ahead of you. This year's show is going to be awesome!

Next 2 big shows!

Next two years of shows all lined up!

After consoltation with Medusa, our teen company, we will be doing a brand new big musical in March 2015 (Good to be Bad), and at the same time start work on Les Mis in L.A.M.D.A, for a full show in early 2016.

'Good to be Bad' is being written specially for the Junior and senior casts, with everyone having speaking roles and signifigant stage time. The show will open at Henley's Kenton theatre on 28th March 2015.

Good Luck Dancers!

Good Luck to Phoenix JV and Phoenix Seniors (our hip hop companies) and Artemis Elite (our cheer team) who will all be competing at the Internationals in Bournemouth this weekend  The JVs are defending a two year International Champion title, and Elite will be taking part for the first time! The Artemis Fusion hip hop group of both JV and senior Phoenix members already qualified for the UDO World championships this summer, so lets keep up the amazing energy and go have a great time! See you all on the beach afterwards!

Free School Sixth form moves forward

Pleased to announce that R.A.C.T.A, the full time sixth form project (for a specialist free academy in creative and technical arts for 300 16-19 year olds in Berkshire) has had a provisional 'Yes' from New Schools Network, who will help us develop our application for the Department of Education.
