If you watch the Alan Titchmarsh show this afternoon (Tuesday 21st Oct) you can see our own Remi and Emilie who will be on as guests with their fellow cast members (Matilda). Remi also appeared in Dr Who earlier this year as Rupert.
Did anyone watch Dr Who over the weekend? Playing Rupert Pink in the episode 'Listen' was Artemis boy Remi Gooding. We have had to keep the secret for months! Gemah accompanied Remi for the filming earlier this year, and we were lucky to have the whole script - a real treat for Whovians! You can see Remi in the show and in the extras special. Remi and his brother are both now appearing in the West End together - living the dream! :-)
Pleased to announce we have been offered a place on the National Theatre Connections again next year! The program is heavily oversubscribed, and we are thrilled to gain a place for two years in a row. Members of Medusa and graduates of Artemis will once again work on a brand new one act play in Spring (intense rehearsals followed by weekly).
More info and play selection in the new term.
Another shot at performing at the National itself!
Will be looking for cast, crew and creatives soon x
Results just in......Phoenix JV's our junior hip hop company have just won the Internationals again - 3 years in a row!!
We are waiting on results for the Elite cheer team, and the Senior Phoenix company will perform/compete tomorrow.
WELL DONE DANCERS!!!!!!
We will be auditioning for 6 new company members for September, to replace members who will be moving up to the senior team. If you are 10-14 and can dance get in touch - it could be you winning in 2015!
Little message from Julian, the director of Aladdin (we have 7 students in the cast of 30) :
Congratulations to everyone who auditioned to be in our professional production of Aladdin at SHP this coming Christmas. We saw around 100 children and the standard of talent was particularly high. We had to make some very tough decisions. To those who didn't get in: be proud and keep trying. To the 30 who did get in: you've got a lot of hard work ahead of you. This year's show is going to be awesome!
