Vivienne Storry

Corporate training

Vivienne works freelance and is a Casting Director working in TV, Theatre and Film, having worked with directors such as Sir Trevor Nunn, Rupert Goold and Bijan Sheibani.  Her TV projects include ‘Sherlock’ (starring Benedict Cumberbatch), ‘DCI Banks’, ‘Foyles War’’ and 'Holby City’.  Theatre projects include West End productions of ‘Enron’, ‘Dealer’s Choice’ and ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’. 

Vivienne has an MA from Cambridge University having previously gained an Honours BA degree in English, Drama and Education Studies at Cambridge University. 

 Vivienne appeared in seventeen productions whilst at Cambridge, gaining her the accolade of being voted as one of the Mercer Varsity 100 (100 most talented people at Cambridge.) She was also President of the Marlowe Society (famous alumni include Sir Ian McKellen, Rachel Weisz and Sacha Baron-Cohen). 

Vivienne was a child actor, performing in professional productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company and as an adult at the Birmingham Rep. and Cambridge Arts Theatre. 

She also teaches audition technique and is a visiting teacher at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and RADA. 

Her family are also in the business, her mother is a retired drama teacher who is now an examiner for Trinity and LAMDA, and her father is a professional actor.

Vivienne directed our youth and teen theatre companies in 2013/14 and now specialises in our corporate classes.
