Niki co-owns Artemis Studios Performing Arts School, Artemis Agency and Artemis Productions. She also owns Hench Bird, a small film company, as well as The Windsor Globe Open Air Festival, an annual festival in a purpose built pop-up venue which holds professional and community productions in Windsor and thoroughout Berkshire each summer.
She has been working in performing arts since the age of 8 when she appeared on C-ITV. She began her professional training the B.R.I.T performing arts school in London at 15 (she was in the Founding Year - one of the first 100 students) and has continued her training ever since - she believes you are never finished! She is also an alumni of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she undertook her post-graduate training.
Niki has produced a very long list of professional shows, pantomimes and large community led productions as well as school productions in the last 15 years. Her professional theatre company currently has Arts Council funding and began exploring digital media hybrid productions in 2013. She also develops short films and is currently in development on two productions with BBC writers.
For four years Niki acted as an education consultant to The Children's International Arts Organisation (CIAO!) organising festivals and outreach which brought theatre and music to 1000's of children and teenagers every year as well as running an ACE funded resident theatre company and acting as Education Manager for a large arts centre.
She still occasionally works as a professional actress, and is a qualified teacher of post compulsory education, an Arts Award tutor, and a children’s film teacher for Uscreen/BFI.
She is has a post graduate qualification in Applied Theatre, gained with the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in association with the National Theatre. She is currently taking an MA in her spare time, and hopes to start a PHD in 2017.
