Panto success!

Little message from Julian, the director of Aladdin (we have 7 students in the cast of 30)  :

Congratulations to everyone who auditioned to be in our professional production of Aladdin at SHP this coming Christmas. We saw around 100 children and the standard of talent was particularly high. We had to make some very tough decisions. To those who didn't get in: be proud and keep trying. To the 30 who did get in: you've got a lot of hard work ahead of you. This year's show is going to be awesome!

Artemis peeps we will be going to see:

Grace Key - Medusa

Next 2 big shows!

Next two years of shows all lined up!

After consoltation with Medusa, our teen company, we will be doing a brand new big musical in March 2015 (Good to be Bad), and at the same time start work on Les Mis in L.A.M.D.A, for a full show in early 2016.

'Good to be Bad' is being written specially for the Junior and senior casts, with everyone having speaking roles and signifigant stage time. The show will open at Henley's Kenton theatre on 28th March 2015.

Good Luck Dancers!

Good Luck to Phoenix JV and Phoenix Seniors (our hip hop companies) and Artemis Elite (our cheer team) who will all be competing at the Internationals in Bournemouth this weekend  The JVs are defending a two year International Champion title, and Elite will be taking part for the first time! The Artemis Fusion hip hop group of both JV and senior Phoenix members already qualified for the UDO World championships this summer, so lets keep up the amazing energy and go have a great time! See you all on the beach afterwards!

Free School Sixth form moves forward

Pleased to announce that R.A.C.T.A, the full time sixth form project (for a specialist free academy in creative and technical arts for 300 16-19 year olds in Berkshire) has had a provisional 'Yes' from New Schools Network, who will help us develop our application for the Department of Education.

****We need your help though! *****

We urgently need to find a current or retired HEAD TEACHER who was or is at a state senior school or sixth form with a Good or higher Ofsted rating.

Globe Theatre Video

Spot a few familiar faces in this great new education resource from Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. Artemis Agency helped supply adult and child actors for this film (inlcuding Gemah and Niki!), which is interactive and lots of fun!

Big thank you to Harper at the Globe for inviting us to be a part of a fun day of filming!
